Sea to Sky Community Services envisions a community where all young people feel supported and able to move forward with confidence into their adult lives.
We offer integrated health, social and recreational services to make it easier for young people and their families to access help before their concerns have a severe impact on their health and well-being. Foundry Sea to Sky, will provide a safe place for youth to get the care they need. Find out more information on current programs and services.

BUILDING WELLNESS TOGETHER IN OUR COMMUNITY
We values our relationships with our Indigenous partners and are actively working to decolonize and explore our internal practices by integrating Indigenous Healing Practices in Foundry Sea to Sky programming. Sea to Sky Community Services is consulting with an Indigenous Advisory Council and Indigenous leaders and Knowledge Keepers to develop programming for Indigenous youth and our wider organization.
There is an increasing need for mental health services for youth in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
THE FACTS ABOUT OUR YOUTH'S MENTAL HEALTH IN THE SEA TO SKY CORRIDOR
Youth in the Sea to Sky Corridor make up make up more than 10% of our population and are more likely to experience mental illness and/or substance use disorders than any other age group.
Sea to Sky youth experience mental health concerns at rates above the provincial average:
The Squamish Youth Resource Centre, previously operated by SSCS, closed due to the declining condition and the age of the building and left a service gap in our community. Foundry Sea to Sky will occupy the ground floor of the Buckley Avenue Affordable Housing Project which is currently under construction in downtown Squamish. Despite having the central Foundry centre located in Squamish, SSCS is working together with community partners and youth to identify opportunities and pilot services throughout the Corridor.
Sea to Sky youth experience mental health concerns at rates above the provincial average:
- 15% of Sea to Sky youth experience depression
- 24% of Sea to Sky youth experience anxiety or panic attacks
- 21% of Sea to Sky youth said they need mental health services
- 48% who reported mental health concerns indicated they didn’t know where to get help
