Walk In Services
Walk-in services are available during select afternoons each week at Foundry Sea to Sky.
Walk-in counseling, peer support and social services are available at the same time to ensure that youth can access the care they need, seamlessly. All services are free, confidential, and ensure that youth accessing supports are provided with welcoming, inclusive, and accessible service.
Walk-in counseling is provided by skilled and experienced Master’s level clinicians who bring their passion for working with youth and young adults.
Walk-in peer support is provided by trained youth peer supporters who “get-it”. They use their lived and living experience to provide support to all youth in the community. Peer
supporters greet young people and introduce them to Foundry services at the Centre, they are also available through the walk-in to support youth one on one.
Walk-in support is also provided by Youth Outreach Workers who are knowledgeable about community resources and can help navigate systems and referrals, as well as
provide direct support with social needs such as accessing food, housing support, and more.
